FABRIC GUIDE
100% COTTON, RINGSPUN – SINGLE JERSEY Single jersey is very suitable for prints. Combined with ring-spun cotton, i.e. spun of long fibres, this flat surface is smooth without lint providing optimal decoration possibilities on soft and comfortable material (high-quality threads). COMBED COTTON Cotton where the fibres are combed with extremely fine brushes to remove impurities and short fibres, making the fabric purer and softer. Combed cotton is perfect for digital printing. COTTON / ELASTANE By adding elastane to cotton the fabric gains a number of remarkable properties: excellent elasticity for maximum comfort with outstanding shape retention. 100% COTTON –SINGLE JERSEY [SLUB YARN] Slub thread has exactly the same properties as ring-spun cotton. The slub thread just adds a modern look with its irregular thread thickness “Vintage Look”. FAIRTRADE & ORGANIC COTTON This fabric is made of 100 % certified Fairtrade cotton. This guarantees that the product is certified in accordance with the international Fairtrade norms. This fabric is 100 % certified Organic cotton which means the cotton is grown without using pesticides or artificial fertilisers. The properties of these fabrics are the same as the ring-spun cotton. POLY COTTON A fabric made from a blend of polyester and cotton. These fabrics combine their properties, the softness and comfort of cotton meet the wash and wear properties of polyester such as strength, higher stain resistance, wrinkle resistance, colour fastness and a shorter drying time. If the composition contains enough polyester it is possible to work with sublimation printing technique. 1X1 RIB 1x1 rib is elastic so the model shapes to the body, perfect for comfortable and close-fitting clothes. 2X2 RIB The width of the columns between every rib equals the width of the rib itself, leading to a regular fabric stretching in depth and diagonally. This enables tight fits that still guarantee a maximum freedom of movement. PIQUÉ This fabric with honeycomb structure is particularly comfortable and perfect for polo shirts, very printable. To create relief, piqué warp threads and filling wefts are used separately. OXFORD One of the most popular fabrics for business shirts. Characteristic by its honeycomb construction, however two warp threads keep crossing one weft thread next to each other, the weft is mostly white and has a coloured warp thread. Oxford stands for quality, comfort and durability. TWILL One of the base fabrics, easy to recognise thanks to its diagonal lines. Sustainable thanks to its design. POPLIN 100% COTTON Fine yarn that goes in one direction, with a thicker yarn type running through it. The fabric has a fine quality making for particularly elegant shirts for daily use. POPLIN POLYCOTTON Mixed fabric with advantage of both fibres. Polyester adds sustainability and resistance, making the shirts wrinkle resistant, sustainable and colourfast. POPLIN STRETCH COTTON Mixed fabric with advantage of both fibres. Elastane is added for elasticity and shape retention. Thanks to this combination a modern tight fit with perfect wearing comfort is possible. PST / PERFECT SWEAT TECHNOLOGY Outside a fine 100% cotton thread, inside robust polyester/ cotton thread, connecting threads between inside and outside polyester. Higher stability, improved wearing comfort, higher sustainability and easier to print on. SWEAT Black jersey in polyester cotton where the inside is made of roughened cotton. Feels soft and warm. [French Terry is not roughened on the inside] FLEECE Fabric from micro polyester fibres. Finishing techniques two-sided brushed, most eece have undergone an anti-pilling treatment. SOFTSHELL Three-layer fabric: outside is elastane, inside micro eece. Between the two layers is a technical breathing membrane fabric.
